Our fenders have a specially designed rib underneath that not only gives the fenders strength and durability but it is designed to channel the water from the road along the ridge and disburse the water straight down from the fender reducing the amount of road spray and increasing visability and safety. Since CFP Fiberglass Fenders are built with function in mind they are designed so that in case of a flat tire you do not have to take the fender off to change the tire. There is no need to make any changes to your suspension either. The underside of the entire fender is lined with a thick bed liner material that makes it rock resistant.
